Cameroon Caregivers

We created this animation for our long-term client, Medical Aid Films in partnership with Infection Control African Network, Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the UK Health Security Agency.

It is part of an orientation package to aid caregivers when it comes to preventing and controlling infections. Told through the story of Mbah, and his granddaughter and care giver Bih, the animation talks caregivers through cleaning hands, preparing good, and other measures that can protect everyone.

Produced in English and Cameroon Pidgin English to ensure it was accessible to all, the animation was designed for caregivers of patients admitted to hospital in Cameroon. Caregivers are often family members who provide personal care for patients during admission.
