Board Game

Board Game was designed and developed as part of a suite of editable templated games for the Cambridge University Press & Assessment English department.

Board Game is designed for use on interactive whiteboards. The teacher divides the class into teams, who compete against each other to win the most number of points within a set time. After rolling a dice, players land on a variety of squares to win points, lose points or be asked a question.

As with all the Cambridge HTML5 games that educate, the visual design, animation, music and sound of the Board Game template can be modified using a bespoke Games Editor tool. With a simple interface, this tool allows the team at Cambridge to create unique scenarios and themes and produce multiple game types with a wide variety of text-based and audio-visual content suited to the subject, age group and education level.

Learners can access and play the games through the Cambridge One platform on all desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
