London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
Antimicrobial resistance animations
We worked closely with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to develop 2 animations for the online course ‘The Role of Diagnostics in the Antimicrobial Resistance Response’ hosted on the FutureLearn platform.
The course is aimed at health professionals, such as clinicians, nurses, nurse-practitioners, pharmacists, lab managers, technicians, faculty and students.
The first animation follows a young South African girl who develops a drug-resistant infection after falling while playing with her friends.

The second animation follows Prince who develops tuberculosis and then becomes resistant to drugs through not completing the initial treatment.
